PTA Room Rep Information
What's a Room Rep?
Many hands make light work.
Each class has 2-3 parents who volunteer to be the Room Representatives or "Room Reps" . Room Reps help organize volunteers from each classroom to help with PTA activites or donations.
The PTA Board will let you know what to do. No experience necessary!
It is not a time-consuming job. The biggest jobs are siging-up volunteers for the carnival, the basket fundraiser and for teacher appreciation week. Littlewood parents are very good about volunteering and donating.
Room Reps are a huge help to the teachers, because they free the teachers from having to organize parent volunteers for PTA activites.
Room Reps simply help to make sure that no teacher or classroom is accidently overlooked by the PTA.
