Schedule of Events
Monday May 2
Breakfast for Teachers and Staff in the Teacher's Lounge.
Door Decorations for Classrooms– each classroom creates a poster for their door, telling everyone what they love about their teacher.
Please volunteer to a make a door decoration.
Tuesday May 3
Treats from Students - please have your childbring in a small treat for his/her teachers and favorite staff members. This could be a sweet treat, a pamper item, or maybe some school supplies.
Wednesday May 4
Luncheon for Teachers and Staff in Terrell Performance Center. Please volunteer to bring a dessert.Cedar Key Vacation Chance Drawing(see below).
Thursday May 5
Flowers Children in the class can bring in a flower for the teacher. This can be a flower from your garden or a store bought flower.
Friday May 6
Notes of Appreciation from Students –please have your child write a note or draw a picture to his/her teachers and favorite staff members. Notes from parents are also encouraged!
Cedar Key Chance Drawing for one lucky teacher or staff member:
The winning teacher and guest will go on a free Cedar Key vacation (generously donated by a Littlewood family and Cedar Key businesses).
* They will stay 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) at the Cedar Cove Beach & Yacht Club
* Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, Saturday Dinner, and Sunday brunch provided by The Island Room Restaurant
* Saturday lunch provided at Brian’s Big Deck
* Boat Cruise tour on Saturday provided by The Island Hopper
Please fill out however many tickets you want with the teacher or staff member name and your child’s name (child selling the winning ticket will also receive a prize), and include a suggested donation of $2 per ticket. All tickets and money are due no later than Friday, April 29th, and the drawing will take place during the luncheon the following Wednesday. Need Extras? You can photocopy the Tickets for the drawing, or ask for more at Littlewood’s main office.
WHAT TO DO:
Fill out the form forCedar Key Vacation Tickets.
Enclose check made payable toLittlewood PTA or cash.
Place all forms and money in a sealed envelope.
Label the envelope clearly – Teacher Appreciation Week, Attn: PTA
Return all forms and donations to your teacher or the office.
DUE DATE: Friday April 29th
