What We Do:
Organize Volunteers for Schoolwide Events
Annual Carnival - a fun day of old-fashioned carnival games, food, prizes and Gift Basket drawings.
Teacher Appreciation Week in the Spring.
Family Night several time a year - invited speakers, game night, activities for the kids, free dinner!
Support for other events like Morning Mile, Book Fair, Art Fling.
Provide Financial Support for:
Mobile Computer Carts - our long term goal is for each grade level to have their own set of laptops to use in the classroom. Each cart costs approximately $17,000.
Planners: provide planners to all students
Lion's Pride Tutoring - this important program is primarily funded by SAC, but some items, such as refrehments, cannot be funded by SAC. PTA helps with this.
Safety Patrol Scholarship for a 5th grader to participate in the end of the year trip.
Hospitality for special events through the year, including Planning Day Lunches for teachers.
Morning Mile - a running/walking program for students.
Special Projects in the past include: Greenhouse, Playground equipment, Smartboards, Computer Server.
Fundraisers:

Fall Gift Wrap Sales - raises over $5,000
Sales of Spiritwear shirts, car magnets, yearbooks.
